Ethiopian Visual Artists

I was looking for visual artists of Ethiopian origin for my university project of visual response to the Family of Man, when I discovered Wosene Worke Kosrof, Aida Muluneh, Achamyeleh Debela, Kebedech Tekleab, Skunder Boghossian, Elisabeth Atnafu and Elizabeth Habte Wold.

I love the body of work by Aida Muluneh as it realities to my ideal work of photography, she is a photojournalist based in USA and has done lots of documentaries about the Diaspora Ethiopians and her work is film and photo documentary about Ethiopians that were sent during Mengistu’s administration to Cuba to study and she covers the effect of their immigration to Cuba.
